From 1 June 2022 the recently released Financial Advertising Code (the Code) will apply to all advertising and promotion of financial products or services. The Advertising Standards Authority, which developed the Code, states that it is possible to breach the principles of the Code without breaching a specific rule. Strategi Institute has developed a learning module to help all financial markets participants understand the new Code. We encourage everyone in the financial services sector to carefully read and understand the implications of the Code on the financial products and services they advertise and promote.
