It’s no surprise the FAP licence application guide and questions
place considerable emphasis on governance and oversight of a FAP. Afterall,
good governance is a key determinant in the success of any business. Strategi
Institute has developed a specific course and qualification for directors and
senior managers of FAPs. The ‘Governance for Financial Advice Providers (Small
Business) (Level 6) Microcredential’ course has recognised CPD status plus NZQA
credits. The first course for 2022 is scheduled for 10-11 February. This is a
classroom-based course being held in Auckland. If the Covid-19 alert level
changes making classroom courses unavailable, then the course will move to
Zoom.
